At First Baptist Church of Punta Gorda, we believe the church is called to faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ while loving, serving, and encouraging people.
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Jesus Christ His only Son, the Holy Spirit, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and everlasting life with God in Heaven.
Our faith is grounded in God’s Word, prayer, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We depend on the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and prayer to become more like Jesus Christ.
We stand firmly on the truth of God's Word and seek to faithfully proclaim the Gospel.
We work together in love for the sake of the Gospel and seek to be a light in our community.
We encourage one another to grow in faith, grace, and Christian fellowship while loving and supporting one another.
We seek to live with integrity, speak the truth in love, and faithfully follow God's Word.
We value every generation and are committed to passing the message of the Gospel to the next generation.
